American Legion Baseball is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2025, marking a century since its inception in 1925.  Missouri will celebrate the 100 year milestone with events like the  "centennial games" with games showcasing some of the best programs in MO/IL to commemorate this milestone.   Fun Fact:  American  Legion Baseball began when the American Legion Department of South Dakota established it in Milbank, South Dakota, with the first World Series held in 1926, where Yonkers, New York, Post 321 defeated Pocatello, Idaho, in Philadelphia.
